Alexander Westgarth is a serial entrepreneur and founder of multiple businesses across the fine wine sector, with more than two decades of experience in the global wine industry. As a Founder and Director of Westgarth Wines, he has built an international reputation for sourcing rare and investment-grade wines while cultivating longstanding relationships with collectors, merchants, and producers worldwide.
Alongside his commercial ventures, Alexander is a recognised wine writer, commentator, and speaker who regularly travels to leading wine regions, meeting with producers and exploring the evolving dynamics of the global fine wine market. His insights have featured in numerous international publications, and he is frequently invited to share perspectives on broader market trends. A WSET-certified wine professional, Alexander is currently based in Southern California.
Steve Weids
European Sales Director
With over three decades of leadership in the fine wine industry, Steve Weids brings extensive expertise across luxury retail, brokerage, auctions, and private client sales. Having worked alongside some of the wine world’s most respected figures, he possesses a sophisticated understanding of global market dynamics and the unique needs of high-net-worth collectors.
Steve specialises in building long-term client relationships and delivering bespoke portfolio solutions across the world’s premier wine regions. His influence spans domestic and international markets, frequently hosting exclusive tastings and events across Europe, the United States, and the Middle East.
His authority in the field has earned recognition beyond the wine trade, notably through an appearance as a wine specialist on the BBC TV programme “Beat the Bank,” alongside entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne.
Adrian Brice
Head of Buying
Adrian Brice has spent the last 30 years cultivating an unparalleled network of the world’s finest producers, merchants, and collectors. He cut his teeth in the London luxury dining scene, sourcing for Michelin-starred cellars and buying directly from iconic estates across the Loire, Rhône, Champagne, and Burgundy.
His ability to track down wines of exceptional provenance brought him to Berry Bros. & Rudd, where he spent 12 years as Fine Wine Buyer, purchasing the very best wines from all major global regions. Today, he combines deep understanding of the fine wine market with unrivalled experience and long-established connections.
With a background studying winemaking in Dijon, Adrian’s first love remains Burgundy, closely rivaled by his passion for Champagne, Bordeaux, and the landscape and wines of Piedmont.
Beatrice Griffiths
Operations Manager
Beatrice Griffiths brings a strong background in luxury hospitality, fine wine operations, and client services, underpinned by the prestigious WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits – one of the industry’s most respected and rigorous qualifications.
Following the completion of her diploma, Beatrice transitioned into the wine industry, specialising in operations, logistics, acquisitions, and provenance management. Combining detailed wine knowledge with extensive customer service experience, she plays a key role in ensuring seamless coordination across sourcing, logistics, and client fulfilment at Westgarth Wines.
Known for her organisational precision, professionalism, and passion for fine wine, Beatrice works closely with clients, suppliers, and collectors to uphold the highest standards of service and provenance throughout the acquisition process.
